#VeloDate - Vancouver (@joordanrenee)
Posted: May 07 2015
If you only had one day in your city to help someone fall in love with you, where would you take them? Who would you introduce them to? What would you want them to experience?
As part of our global and summer long #VeloDate project we asked the incredibly talented Jordan Dyck (@joordanrenee) of Vancouver, Canada to share with us what that one special day would look and feel like for her.
Here is Jordan's lookbook.
Horseshoe Bay -- a beautiful little village and positively west coast.
A quick round-trip to Bowen Island by ferry.
Sitting on the top deck on a sunny day looking north into the Howe Sound is a stunning and awe-inspiring experience.
Nom Nom Nom.
Behind The Camera
Jordan Dyck is a natural-light photographer and mobile photographer based in Vancouver, BC. She was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where she spent as much time as possible in the Rocky Mountains, before moving to British Columbia 3 years ago to pursue her career in Fashion and Photography. Her favourite things are travelling, the smell of fresh coffee, reading, peonies, and antique leather suitcases. Her goal? To visit every continent by the time she's 23. Two to go!
What Inspires Jordan About Vancouver?
What I love most about Vancouver, is that your surrounded by mountains, the water, and an urban city. I've travelled a lot, but there's not many places that give you the lifestyle Vancouver offers. I guess that's what inspires me the most, I can be hiking amongst huge trees in Stanley Park, and then 10 minutes later be at one of the nicest cocktails lounges in the country. You can watch the sunset at the ocean, then grab a late night coffee at your favourite cafe. The city is just alive.
